Not a subject many want to talk about out loud.
I have here a few recipes, all work well.
1) Removal with lightening effect: (don’t do this before going out in the sunlight!)
2 cups of chickpea flour
2 cups of milk
1 tsp tumeric powder
1 tsp fresh cream
mix all ingridients well and apply to face and neck leave it on for 20mins (it will dry),
then rub off in the opposite direction to the hair growth, wash off rest with warm water in circular motion.
2) The potato removal
juice of 2-3 peeled and crushed raw potatoes
2 cups soaked (over night) crushed yellow lentils
4 tsp lemon juice
1 tbsp honey
mix all ingridients well apply to face and neck leave on for 20 mins wash off as above.
3) Removal “wax” no cotton strips needed ( but it hurts more than with the strips)
1 cup of white sugar
1/4 cup water
squeeze of lemon juice
pinch of salt
heat all ingriedients in a bowl or pan untill sugar is molten and has changed colour, then stop and let it cool at this cooling stage you can add a little more water to make it more managable, but not liquid. With wet hands take the sugar mass and pull it and roll it so it’s plyable a bit like chewing gum. If it’s too thick then just put into microwave for 10 seconds to warm it up. Now you can knead it onto the area to be depilated and then pull off in counter direction to hair growth. Repeat various times until hair is gone.
4) DIY Wax
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tspn honey
later few drops of lemon juice, wooden popsicle sticks/spatulas,cotton strips
place this mixture in microwave in 30second intervals until all has molten
add a few drops of lemon juice
let this cool to room temperature
make sure the face is grease free and clean
get the wooden spatula and dip into the sugar mix and apply to face work quickly from middle of face outwards whilst the mix is still soft in small strips. Place cotton over the applied area and press down from mid to outer of face. Then in rapid motion pull off the cotton strip. Carry on till all unwanted hair is gone. any sticky remnants wash off later with warm water.
