DIY – Ironing masterclass

1) Put a sheet of tin foil on the board under the cover. This will reflect the heat back up and make the job much easier
2) Begin with dampened linen. Steam ironing dry linen is less effective than dry or steam ironing dampened linens.
3) Iron dark linens on the wrong side only, otherwise you may affect the colour.
4) Hang freshly ironed clothes up to dry when you’ve finished and don’t wear them for a few hours in order to avoid re-creasing them.
